Our Mission
The Green Team of Huron Valley is a grassroots organization committed to the ideals of promoting ecological awareness, sustainability, and community. Its purpose is to create and support initiatives designed to educate people and drive positive environmental change at the local level. We seek to reduce Huron Valley's global footprint, engender a greater sense of connection to the environment, and enhance our social spirit.

Mother Nature never fails to surprise us! Here it is, April 17th, and the wind was blowing up to 40 MPH with snow falling most of the afternoon. Everyone was grateful and overjoyed to move the entire Festival indoors at the YMCA. We had a big tent set up behind the building for the Bands to play, but the wind and cold forced a cancellation. On the very good side, we had several thousand guests attend and participate in the various indoor activities....dancing , drumming, bug-searching, cardboard car racing, face painting, tree planting ceremony, and so many wonderful displays that we can't name them all in this limited space. Year after year, we get so many wonderful and willing sponsors to help put on this Fair, and the help of all the volunteers is irreplaceable.
We hope to see all of you again next year!
